First Aid Training:
Why It (Also) Matters at AM Experience!

BY AM EXPERIENCE GROUP | Aug 4, 2025

At AM Experience, our happiness creators go far beyond creative development, organizational power, or innovation. From day one, we’ve known that what truly makes the difference is people - and how we care for, respect, and value them.

That’s why our idea of “experience” goes far beyond the events we produce or the services we deliver. It lives in the internal decisions we make, in the way we act with social responsibility, and in how we express our core values - such as empathy, humanism, and commitment to one another.

With that spirit in mind, this month we embraced a new challenge: a first aid training program.

More than just a technical module, this training was a tangible expression of what we believe in: that creating unforgettable experiences begins with being attentive, prepared, and conscious human beings - for one another.

Because to prepare is to care

We live in an unpredictable world. And despite all the care we put into planning our experiences, there’s always room for the unexpected. A sudden illness, a fall, an emergency in a remote location.

The truth is this: knowing how to respond can save lives. And for us, that’s more than enough reason to invest time and energy in a training like this one.

“It’s so good to have a training at the company that also helps us grow as people.” - Cristiana Ferreira

And that’s exactly it. Because more than learning how to react to critical situations, we learned to be more aware, more present, more human.
This training didn’t just prepare us to act - it prepared us to care.
To realize that our impact can go far beyond our professional performance. And that a company that invests in this kind of learning is, in fact, investing in the person each of us is - not just the employee.

A learning that transforms

During the training, we didn’t just learn techniques.
We learned to observe more carefully, to act more safely, to stay calm.
We learned that the simple act of placing someone in the recovery position can be crucial.
That calling 112 with the right information can accelerate a life-saving response.
That a person’s heart can stop - but it can also start beating again, if we’re prepared.

“I felt this training gave me hope. Not because I know everything now – but because I know enough not to stand by and do nothing. That gives me huge confidence and hope that I can make a difference.” - Cláudia Pinto

More than training - a culture

This moment was also a clear expression of the culture we want to continue building at AM Experience.
A culture where caring for others is not just about pretty words on team presentations - but something that translates into real action.

“It was beautiful to see the whole team so engaged, so attentive, so present.
It was more than learning to save lives - it was learning to show up for each other.”
- Paula Teixeira

Caring is our essence

At AM Experience, we create experiences - but we never forget that behind every experience are real people.
With emotions, stories, and vulnerabilities.
Caring for those people - whether colleagues, partners, or clients - is an essential part of our mission.

Trainings like this one show us that there are many ways to care.
And that even what seems “outside our core” can be fully aligned with who we are.

And you - are you prepared?

We leave you with a challenge:
Have you ever thought about what you’d do if someone next to you fainted?
Do you know what to do in a choking situation?
Do you know how to stop severe bleeding?
Or how to perform Basic Life Support?

Getting trained in first aid is an investment in a safer, more empathetic, more human world.
A world where everyone feels more prepared - and more protected.

And if we can be part of that, then we’re on the right path.

BLOG it out!
